Will this help me show up on Google and AI search?

Yes — getting you found on Google and cited by AI engines like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini is a core part of what we do.

Yes — getting you found is a core part of what we do. We work on ranking you in local Google searches and on getting your business cited by the AI assistants people now ask for recommendations. When someone searches "best plumber near me" or asks ChatGPT the same question, the point is that your name is one of the ones that comes back.

How is AI search different from Google?

Google gives someone ten links to choose between. An AI assistant gives them an answer — often naming two or three businesses and nobody else. There's no second page to be on. That makes being one of the named businesses far more valuable than being the eleventh result, and it's why this is worth treating as its own job rather than a side effect of normal SEO.

Which engines do you actually check?

Five, separately, because they disagree with each other constantly:

  • ChatGPT
  • Google Gemini, and Google's AI Overviews in normal search results
  • Perplexity
  • Claude

Each gets asked the questions your customers would actually type, and we record whether you were named, cited with a link, or missing entirely.

Why would an AI recommend one business over another?

Largely because of what the rest of the web says about you. These systems lean heavily on pages they trust — directory listings, roundups, review sites, articles that mention you. So the work splits in two: making your own site easy to read and quote, and getting your business onto the third-party pages the engines already pull from.

How long does it take?

Months, not weeks — and honestly, it depends on how old your site is and who you're competing with. Anyone who quotes you a date is guessing. Local profile work tends to move first, written content follows, and being cited by AI engines is usually the slowest of the three because it depends on other websites catching up.

How would I know it's working?

Three things get tracked, and the middle one is the one most people miss. Your rankings for the searches that matter. The number of people searching for your business by name — which is what rises when someone reads about you in an AI answer and then goes looking for you. And whether visits are arriving from the AI tools directly.
